New Memberships

We are always looking to welcome new members, regardless of ability. So whether you are an experienced player or a newcomer to the game, you are most welcome to come along and have a look around. New members are introduced to a handful of members of similar standard, so that they can organise some friendly matches. We recommend new members join the (free) internal league system which is updated every calendar month - a great opportunity to meet other players.

There is a ceiling on full member numbers so, on occasion, new applicants for membership may need to join as an associate member (with restricted booking rights for an interim period) once that ceiling is reached. Members who join part-way through the year may be offered an appropriately reduced fee for the first (part) year.

Membership categories and cost per annum (2023/2024 season):

Season runs from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024 (renewal date: 1 July 2024)

• Adult Couple: £360 - any two family members living in the same household
• Full Adult: £200 - aged 23+ on 31 August 2023
• Dual Member: £135 - already a member of another Rhiwbina Rec section
• Young Adult: £80 - aged between 18 and 22 on 31 August 2023
• Junior: £30 - aged between 11 and 17 on 31 August 2023
• Mini: £ Nil - aged under 11 on 31 August 2023

• By Bank Transfer to Account Number 71105582, Sort Code 40-38-13 quoting your surname and post code
• From July 2023 there will be an option of renewing by credit card on the MyCourts membership module 

If joining after 1 July 2023 (mid-year) the mid-year administration/ joining fee will apply.

• When proof of payment is CONFIRMED BY OUR  TREASURER  you will be sent personal log-in details for court bookings, lights etc.
• You will then be able to log on to our court management website to book courts.
• As of July 2023, annual membership fees can be paid in a one-off payment via a credit card. 
• There is no joining fee.
