Rhiwbina Squash & Racketball Club

Our club is nestled in the village of Rhiwbina in North of Cardiff, just a few miles from the city centre and a five minute drive to the M4 motorway. We have 4 high quality courts and, as part of Rhiwbina Recreation Club, offer a busy social program. We are a friendly, thriving club and offer the opportunity for players of all standards to get involved and play this fast-paced, dynamic sport. We cater for all abilities, from complete beginners, through intermediate to elite level.

Our Club is in partnership with Wales Squash and has gained the Gold Charter Award for Achievement. Qualified coaches with first aid and DBS status lead regular group, disabled, elementary and junior sessions.

The club has entered teams in South Wales and Avon & District Bristol Leagues and has participated in the South Glams summer racketball leagues.

We have past hosted PSA and UK Masters Home Internationals. We also run a series of internal events, including:

Our Squash Courts

We have four well-maintained squash courts, two of which are glass-backed with tiered viewing for 150 spectators - a great facility to enjoy the game of squash. Courts can be booked by members up to two weeks in advance via our online booking facility, and the court usage fee of £3 per court for a 40 minute session is highly competitive.

Rhiwbina Recreation Club

The Squash Club is a section of Rhiwbina Recreation Club, which boasts a comfortable lounge with Sky TV and a well-stocked bar. It's a perfect place to relax and socialise after a game. Other sections of the Rhiwbina Recreation Club include Indoor and Outdoor Bowls, Tennis, Table Tennis and Rugby. Regular activities and special occasions are hosted in the Sportsman's Hall & Bar.
